Wanted to share a great article that I read in the Adelaide Review August 5-18, 2005. “Schools must connect with student’s souls” by Garry Costello, Principal of Mt Gambier High School SA. There is so much focus on skills development we forget about the development of “self”. Garry has my vote! We need to keep in mind that as educators we should take a holistic view “for the development of social, physical, mental, spiritual and emotional capacities” of the individual too.
